VENDING MADE RESPONSIBLE
IVS Group has always chosen to pursue ethical and social responsibility, operating in full compliance with the rights of people and the environment. These values are epitomised in the new brand Vending Made Responsible, for the communication of projects in favour of environmental sustainability, a natural and healthy diet, constant improvements to the work environment as well as the promotion of fair trade.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Protection and respect for the environment are objectives which all companies are called to comply with, however IVS Group transforms these requirements into aware and targeted choices, to ensure environmental sustainability for each process phase.
This approach translates into an assessment of the potential impact of group activities, with reference to macro-areas, such as product conservation, shipment, resupply and redistribution.
The Group’s set-up is also shared by operators external to the Supply Chain, with the extension of operations beyond the Company’s borders.
ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONS
Logistics is the most energy consuming activity of IVS Group: in order to minimise the consumption of diesel vehicles and reduce Co2 consumption, the company fleet has been enriched with reduced environmental impact vehicles, as well as electrical or methane powered vehicles. The reason is simple: such a widespread presence throughout Europe requires extensive vehicle use: this is why IVS Group carefully selects all vehicles it uses.
In order to reduce emissions generated by its own plants, photovoltaic panels are currently being installed on warehouse roofs of some Group’s Italian sites. This enables the generation of renewable energy, thus further reducing emissions while also optimising internal consumption.
In this fully eco-sustainable approach, the selection of commercial partners and suppliers is increasingly focused on companies with ISO 14000 environmental certification.
WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
The Group uses water for sanitary and industrial purposes, mostly for the cleaning and sanitisation of vending machines. The Group has always been tangibly committed to reducing the consumption of natural resources, by means of periodic data collection (in Italy by means of a specific process called “Operative Visual Inspection“), in order to monitor use and prompt intervention whenever required.
In addition to technical manual checks, IVS Group has also implemented a telemetric automatic system at its Seriate and Pedrengo sites in Italy, with real time reporting of any anomalies and consequent, rapid resolution, thus preventing delays and permanent damage.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
In line with skilful resources management concepts, the IVS Group waste prevention policy aims to encourage the reuse of everything that is recyclable, along with the sustainable management of any dangerous substances. This system is constantly shared with employees and collaborators, by promoting the recycling of materials and incentivising separate waste collection, for example with internal collection stations, each with clear signs on how to separate different parts. At IVS Group, protecting the Planet is also about small, everyday gestures.

HUMAN AND SOCIAL RIGHTS
Human rights are something that IVS Group hold particularly close to its heart, indeed the company rejects all discrimination based on gender, religion, nationality, personal or political opinions, age, economic and social conditions of representatives, including suppliers.

The Group also avails itself of an instrument called Gap Analysis, which it uses to constantly monitor all operations and ensure that employees correctly follow procedures.
IVS Group also endeavours to always operate in full compliance with Institutions and Public Authorities: as stated in the company’s Ethical Code, relations between parties are pursued in full transparency and propriety, to prevent any partial, ambiguous or misleading interpretations which may compromise
collaboration. No direct or indirect funding or contribution is accepted from political parties, movements, organizations or any relative members or candidates. Quality, honesty and transparency are essential for the overall quality of the service provided by IVS Group.
